A legspinner from Uttar Pradesh, Zeeshan Ansari made his IPL debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2025 when he had played just one T20 for his state. Ansari had emerged on the radar of IPL franchises after topping the wickets charts in the inaugural UP T20 league with 24 strikes in 12 games at an economy rate of 7.60.In a high-scoring final, he claimed 4-0-20-1 to set up victory for Meerut Mavericks.
