Nitish Rana IPL factfile- Nitish Rana was first bought by Mumbai Indians in the IPL in 2015, but did not get a game. He was retained for 2016 after being the most prolific six-hitter in the 2015-16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.- IPL 2017 was his first proper season, playing 13 games and scoring 333 runs as Mumbai became champions for the third time. He was then released and picked up by Kolkata Knight Riders in the next auction.- KKR started using his skills as a bowler as well.
